Terms of Service
Draft prepared: August 16, 2026. No prior version existed for this portal.
What this portal is
This portal lets you request a plumbing service visit, sign in to an account tied to your phone number, view your appointments/job history/property and equipment on file, respond to estimates, upload photos or documents, manage notification preferences, and (in a currently test-only mode) pay an open balance. By using this portal, you agree to these terms.
Booking is a request, not a confirmed appointment
Submitting the booking form requests a visit — it is not a guaranteed appointment until our office confirms your exact arrival window by phone or text. If we can't reach you or confirm a time that works, the visit may not happen as requested.
Changing or canceling a booking
A confirmation screen (and, once real text/email delivery is turned on, a message to your phone or email) gives you a private link to manage your booking — reschedule or cancel it yourself. Visits can no longer be rescheduled or canceled through this self-service link within 24 hours of the scheduled window; at that point, please call us directly.
Anyone who has that link can use it to view or change that specific booking — treat it like you would a ticket confirmation, and don't forward it to someone you don't want managing your appointment.
Signing in
Signing in uses a one-time code texted to the phone number already on file with us — there is no separate password to create or remember. Keep access to that phone number secure; anyone who can receive that text can sign in to the account tied to it.
Accuracy of information
Please give us accurate contact and address information — a technician can't reach you or find the right property otherwise. Don't submit someone else's information without their knowledge, and don't attempt to view or change another customer's booking or account information.
Payments
No real payments are processed through this portal today. The "Pay Now" feature currently leads to a page explicitly labeled TEST MODE — it simulates a successful or failed payment with no real money moving and no card or bank details collected. Once real payment processing is turned on (through QuickBooks Payments, the business's payment processor), this section will be updated to describe how that works, including refund handling — that language does not exist yet and should not be assumed.
Availability of the portal
We try to keep this portal available, but it may be temporarily down for maintenance or due to an outage in a system it depends on. If the portal is unavailable, please call us directly — a portal outage does not affect any appointment you already have confirmed by phone or text.
Liability — placeholder, needs real legal language
This section is intentionally left minimal rather than filled with invented legal boilerplate. A genuine terms-of-service document normally includes specific limitation-of- liability language, a warranty disclaimer, and a dispute-resolution/governing-law clause. Writing that language accurately requires legal judgment this draft does not have — it is called out here as an open item for the owner's attorney, not filled in with generic text that might not reflect this business's actual state, insurance, or risk position.
Changes to these terms
As this portal changes, this page will be updated to keep describing what it actually does. Once this has had a real legal review, that review date will be noted here too.
